Whether you're looking for an intimate private dining experience or a place to host a business or social luncheon or dinner in Ames, Iowa, The IowaStater Restaurant has long been known as the best place for collaborations and celebrations.

We feature two flexible private dining spaces, perfect for intimate sit-down dinners, brunches, rehearsal dinners, or business meetings. The two rooms can also be combined to accommodate larger groups of up to 26 guests. The rooms showcase the inviting interior of the restaurant with beautiful dark paneling, warm furnishings, comfortable chairs, and stunning photography of Iowa State.

Rental Rates

All room rentals are charged in minimum 2-hour blocks of time. Room rental is $15 per hour for West, $10 per hour for East, and $20 per hour combined (pending room availability). A $25 cancellation fee is applicable for any reservation canceled less than 7 days from the start of the event.

White linens, votives, and centerpieces are available for $10 per table.

We can provide a 50″ roll-in flat-screen television for $125.
